Govt decides to shut down regional administration offices



KATHMANDU: The government has decided to shut down all the regional administration offices.

A Cabinet meeting decided to hand over the moveable and immovable properties and documents of these offices to the Offices of Chief Ministers and Council of Ministers in the respective States, shared Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Gokul Prasad Banskota.

Minister Banskota added that meeting also decided that the federal governments would also be closed on the holiday given by the State governments. However, it would be as per the decision of the Home Ministry in case of the offices in the Kathmandu Valley.
