State 2 invests five mln on old-age home construction project



BIRGUNJ: State 2 government is constructing an old-age home investing five million rupees.

Chief Minister of State 2 Lal Babu Raut has laid a foundation stone of the two-storey old-age home Nagawa of Birgunj on Friday.

On the occasion, Chief Minister Raut said that the state government continue to invest for the welfare of senior citizens who had contributed for the cause of the nation and society.

Chairperson of the old-age home construction committee Krishna Shrestha said the estimated cost for the same would come around Rs 41 million. He informed that the State 2 government has invested Rs five million. According to him, the remaining budget will be managed through the funds raising campaign.
