Three arrested with leopard skin



DHANUSA: Three people were arrested with leopard skin in Dhanusa.

Those arrested with the skin of protected animals are Sunil Dhungel, 28, from Kshireswornath Municipality-5, Mahendra Nagar, Shiva Kumar Mahato, 39, from Kshireswornath Municipality-5, Mahendra Nagar and Jayram Mandal, 36, from Dhanauji Municipality-4, SP Rajesh Upretri of Armed Police Force Battalion, Dhanusa said.

Police held them with 7.5 foot long and 4.5 feet wide leopard skin.

A special squad from the Armed Police Force Battalion, Dhanusa apprehended them from Dhanusa, Upreti said.

They are presently in police custody for further investigation into the matter and will be handed to the District Forest Office, Dhanusa, later.
