Property details of revenue employees submitted to CIAA

KATHMANDU: The National Investigation Department (NID) has submitted the property details of the revenue (customs and tax) employees to the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) suspecting them of amassing illegal properties.

According to a media report, the property details of the employees in central, federal and local levels and their relatives have been handed over to the anti-graft body.

The source added that CIAA is collecting property details of the suspicious employees by forming a joint mechanism of employees, police and NID.
