KABUL: Gunmen killed six persons, including the head of a Japanese aid agency, today in an attack on their vehicle in Jalalabad of eastern Afghanistan, international media reports have said.
Tetsu Nakamura, head of Peace Japan Medical Services, was killed in the attack. He had been involved in rebuilding Afghan agriculture and irrigation.
He was recently granted honorary Afghan citizenship for decades of his humanitarian work in the country. (Agencies)
