Cabinet promotes three Colonels, transfers 16 Brigadier Generals



KATHMANDU: The government has extended the deadline of a committee under the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police formed to investigate government and guthi lands by two months.

A meeting of Council of Ministers held last week also decided to form an eight-member committee headed by the joint secretary at Ministry for Finance to hold talks with Asian Development Bank for a concessional loan for Bagmati River Improvement Project, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Baskota said at a press meet on Thursday.

Likewise, the meeting promoted three Colonels of Nepal Army to Brigadier Generals and transferred 16 Brigadier Generals among other decisions.
