Rabi Lamichhane moves high court against order by Chitwan District Court

KATHMANDU: Television presenter Rabi Lamichhane has filed a review petition at Patan High Court against the order made by Chitwan District Court on Salikram Pudasaini suicide case.

Likewise, another accused journalist Yubaraj Kandel of News 24 Television also filed a review petition at Hetauda Bench of Patan High Court.

Spokesperson of Heatuda Bench of Patan High Court Amrit Ghimire told Khabarhub that the writ has been registered.

The Chitwan District Court on August 26 had released Lamichhane on a bail bond of Rs 500,000 and Yubaraj Kandel on a bail bond of Rs 300,000. Dissatisfied with the court’s order, they moved the high court.

They have been accused of abetting the suicide by journalist Pudasaini.
