Man murders his wife with sharp weapon



RUKUM WEST: A man has gruesomely murdered his wife by with a sharp weapon. According to District Police Office, Rukum, 27-year-old Nabin Khadka killed his 25-year-old wife Kamala Budhathoki on Monday night.

Inebriated Khadka attacked his wife on the night of Teej, the greatest festival of Hindu women, DSP Sumit Khadka informed Khabarhub.

Acting on a tip-off about the ruthless killing,  police arrested the assailant who was hiding in a nearby jungle, said DSP Khadka.  The assailant had gone into hiding after killing his wife. Police also recovered the weapon the assailant had used to kill his wife.

The cause behind killing the wife is yet to be known. Police said they are investigating the case after taking Khadka into custody.
