Aerial patrol after Biplav cadres attempt to attack police post

SOLUKHUMBU: Security personnel are making an aerial patrol after the cadres of Netra Bikram Chand Biplav attempted to attack a police post at Chheskam in Mahakulung Rural Municipality-3 on Sunday night.

Security personnel are using a chopper of Nepal Army (NA) for the patrol. Teams of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force (APF) have been mobilized after the attempted attack.

NA Spokesperson Brigadier General Bigyan Dev Pandey said that the chopper was provided to Nepal Police personnel, adding that the national army has not been mobilized.

DSP Shalikram Sharma Poudel at District Police Office, Solukhumbu said that the security has been heightened but refused to comment on the attempted attack.
