Sub Inspector arrested with bribe money



JANAKPUR: A Sub Inspector of Police has been arrested for demanding Rs one thousand bribe money from a tipper driver.

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) arrested Sub Inspector Nabin Jha of Traffic Police from Chhireshwarnath Municipality of the district on Monday.

Jha has demanded the bribe money from the driver assuring him of facilitating in delivery of stones and construction aggregate.

The anti-graft body said they are investigating the case further.
