Russian national arrested for illegal stay



POKHARA: A Russian national who was found staying illegally in Nepal has been arrested from Pokhara.

A team from the Tourist Police Office arrested Nikckolay Olegovich Voronov from Khahare of Pokhara-6. He failed to produce official documents concerning him such as citizenship and passport before the police.

He owns a business stall of curio items at Lakeside, one of the major tourist destinations in the town.

Besides, he has been found involving in other activities. The team handed him to the Immigration Office, Pokhara before sending him to the Department of Immigration, Kathmandu.
