News on vehicle purchase exaggerated: Far West State Minister

DHANGADI:  Minister for Internal Affairs and Law in Far West State, Prakash Bahadur Shah, has refuted the news relating to the purchase of vehicles at the end of fiscal year to increase capital spending.

Minister Shah, who is also the Spokesperson of the government, made it clear at the press meet that the vehicles were purchased in line with the existing Act and criteria for public service.

“News that the Minister bought vehicles for him to increase capital spending is exaggerated and fabricated,” he said, stressing that it was false.

According to him, the State government bought 16 modern ambulances, nine jeeps for State Police, 33 motorcycles for various ministries and offices and remaining motors. He also informed that the capital expenditure of the State government in the last fiscal year was 59 percent while current expenditure 55 percent.
