MELAMCHI: A student went missing in the Sunkoshi river in Sindhupalchowk district on Wednesday morning.
Bijay Nepal, seventh grader at Balshikshya Secondary School, at Balefi Rural Municipality-7 in Sindhupalchowk district was swept away by the Sunkoshi river. The incident took place when Bijaya had gone to the river to bring a ball that fell into the river in course of playing it at the school.
A police team from Police Post, Lamosanghu, school teachers and locals have been carrying out search for the missing boy.
