Bara Cyclone: Victims being airlifted to Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: The injured in the deadly cyclone that hit Bara and Parsa districts are being airlifted to Kathmandu for further treatment in coordination with the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Nepal Army’s  Sky Truck  has already airlifted six injured to Kathmandu. They are undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital and TU Teaching Hospital.

The government has intensified rescue operations for the disaster-hit victims. Meanwhile, Province 2 government has decided to bear treatment expenses of the injured.
