Coronavirus death toll climbs to 24,000 in Brazil

KATHMANDU:  The death toll in Brazil from Coronavirus has crossed 24,000  in the last five months.

According to Worldometer, the death toll has reached 24, 549 after 1,027 died in the last 24 hours.

With 15, 691 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 392, 360 as of Wednesday morning.

Currently, 209, 218 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country while 158, 593 have recovered after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 213 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 352,155 and infecting 5,681, 649 people as of Wednesday morning.
