Two arrested for carrying passengers in ambulance

BARA: Bara Police have arrested two persons who were carrying passengers in an ambulance during the ongoing lockdown to prevent the transmission of coronavirus.

The arrested are Rajan Patel, 24, and Anil Patel, 27, of Bishrampur Rural Municipality-3.

Police arrested them while they were transporting passengers in the ambulance without a registration number.

According to the District Police Office, Bara, Rajan and Anil have been released on bail of Rs 7,000 and Rs 28,000 respectively.
