Swab samples of 441 including lawmakers collected



KATHMANDU: Swab samples of 441 persons including lawmakers of the Federal Parliament have been collected on Thursday to perform tests for coronavirus.

Samples of 177 members of the House of Representatives, 33 members of the National Assembly and 229 staff of the Federal Parliament Secretariat were collected.

According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, samples of the remaining parliamentarians, security personnel and staff will be collected from 8 am to 10 am on Friday.

Spokesperson at the Federal Parliament Secretariat Dr. Rojnath Pandey said that the results will come on Friday.

All the parliamentarians will be allowed to enter to attend the budget session of the parliament starting on Friday only after examining their test reports.
