Police refuse to lodge cybercrime complaint against ex-PM Bhattarai



KATHMANDU: Police have refused to lodge a cybercrime complaint against former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai among others.

A team of student leaders including Coordinator of the All Nepal National Free Students Union Ain Mahar had reached Metropolitan Police Range, Teku on Monday to file a complaint against former PM Bhattarai, former minister Hisila Yami and leaders Bishwodeep Pandey and Angkaji Sherpa of Janata Samajwadi Party.

They have accused the leaders of making offensive comments on social media.

But, the law enforcement agency refused to file the case and suggested they move court instead.
