Newly-appointed ambassador to China Pandey sworn in



KATHMANDU: Newly appointed ambassador of Nepal to China Mahendra Bahadur Pandey has been sworn-in on Sunday.

President of Nepal Bidya Devi Bhandari administered the oath of office and secrecy to Pandey amid a program at the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas on Sunday.

During the ceremony, Foreign Minister Pradeep Gyawali and other high-level government officers were also present.

The cabinet on April 17 had decided to appoint him as the envoy to China.
