Balen Shah begins consultations with Madhes leaders



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Balendra Shah has begun consultations with leaders of various political parties representing Madhes.

The discussions, currently underway at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, are focused on ways to ease the tensions that have emerged in Sunsari and other districts of Madhesh Province.

Leaders participating in the meeting include Dr. CK Raut, Mahantha Thakur, Rajendra Mahato, Lalbabu Raut, Samim Miya Ansari, Ram K. Sharma, Prabhu Shah, Amaresh Kumar Singh, Sharat Singh Bhandari, Jayakant Raut, and others.
