KATHMANDU: Police have arrested two persons on the charge of butchering cows from separate places.

Acting on a tip-off, police arrested 40-year-old Nabibox Oli Darji of Khajura rural municipality of Banke district on Wednesday night.

Dari was arrested along with the meat of the cow.

Similarly, police arrested Yam Bahadur Tamang, 42, of Indrawati rural municipality-6, Kavre on the charge of butchering a cow on Thursday morning.

Acting on a tip-off, a police squad deployed from Area Police Office, Nawalpur arrested Tamang with the cow’s meat along with an axe used to kill the ox.
