KATHMANDU: The government has decided to mobilize all the government agencies to enforce the lockdown strictly.

A meeting of Cabinet held on Saturday decided to that effect, according to government Spokesperson Yuvaraj Khatiwada.

The meeting decided to stop the movement of people from one province to another, one district to another and from one local unit to another.

Likewise, a decision has been taken to carry out COVID-19 tests in Kailali, Kanchanpur and Baglung through rapid test kits and verify it through PCR machine if found positive and provide the necessary equipment to health workers at the earliest.

It should be noted that questions have been raised over rapid test kits imported from China over accuracy.
