Govt decides to resume minimal transportation



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the High-Level Coronavirus Prevention and Control Coordination Committee has decided to resume minimal transportation.

Assessing the current situation of COVD-19, a meeting of the committee held on Friday decided to resume minimal transportation taking the impact of lockdown into account.

Government Spokesperson Dr. Yuvaraj Khatiwada said that the meeting decided to let goods-laden trucks stranded at border points to enter Nepal, operate foods-laden trucks from entry points to market and take precautions while bringing tourists marooned in different places via land route among other decisions.
