IGP confers insignia on three AIGs



KATHMANDU: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Thakur Prasad Gyawali has conferred insignia to newly appointed AIGs Tarnini Dutta Lamsal, Shailesh Thapa Chhetri and Hari Bahadur Pal.

A meeting of Council of Ministers on Sunday had promoted DIGs Lamsal, Chhetri and Pal to AIGs.

A meeting of Promotion Recommendation Committee on February 27 had decided to recommend their names for promotion.

Likewise, after receiving the insignia, Lamsal has been posted to National Police Training Academy, Chhetri to Human Resources and Administration Department and Pal to Crime Investigation Division.
