Rs 2.5 million collected to purchase health equipment



HETAUDA: The Ministry of Social Development Ministry and local levels in the district of Makawanpur with the initiative of the District Coordination Council have collected Rs 2.5 million in cash aimed at treating COVID-19 patients in the district.

Chief of the Council, Raghunath Khulal said that the amount would be spent to purchase necessary equipment to carry out treatment of coronavirus infected people.

Likewise, they have requested the Bagmati State Government to provide security personnel needed at quarantines where suspected COVID-19 patients would be kept.
