National Public Health Laboratory testing 60 samples for COVID-19 today



KATHMANDU: The National Public Health Laboratory is testing 60 samples for COVID-19 on Tuesday.

These samples were sent to the laboratory based in Kathmandu from different hospitals across the country.

According to Information Officer at the laboratory, Rajesh Gupta, 660 samples have been tested till Tuesday morning.

“All except one have tested negative for COVID-19,” Gupta said.

The laboratory is also testing samples of five relatives of a 19-year-old girl who had tested positive for coronavirus.

She had tested positive after returning from France.
