Karnali State establishes health desk as prevention against coronavirus

KARNALI: The Karnali State government has set up a health desk at six different locations as precautionary measures against the risk of novel coronavirus infection.

The State Health Directorate informed that the people’s measurement of body temperature is taking place from the desks set up at the local border transit points.

Directorate information officer Laxmi Prasad Bhattarai said so far body temperature of 420,300 people has been measured and among them, 80 had 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit fever.

They have been urged to stay at home and take precautions.

Awareness programs have also been intensified in the State.
