Sindhuplachowk to have 60 feet-tall tower

CHAUTARA: A 60 feet-tall hill station tower is to be constructed at Lisangkhupakhar rural municipality in Sindhupalchowk district in a bid to attract tourists targeting Visit Nepal 2020.

The Bagmati State government has decided to provide Rs 88 million for the project. It will be completed in two years.

Kamal Nepal, the chairperson of the rural municipality, said a detailed project report of the project has already been prepared.

The project spanning around 40 ropanis of land, will also have a children park, picnic spots, lodges, and a garden.

To be constructed at an altitude of 2,500 meters above sea level, a person can have a view of Sailung, Kalinchok Temple, Gaurishankar mountain peak and Jugal mountain range from there.

Likewise, people can also see Dolakha, various areas of Sindhupalchowk, Ramechhap, Okhaldhunga, and Kavrepalanchowk.
