Bagmati State to expand CM people health examination program

HETAUDA: The Bagmati state government has decided to expand the Chief Minister People Health Examination Program across the state.

The program was launched nine months ago with the aim of ensuring easy access to health service to the people.

The program will be expanded to 15 hospitals of 13 districts from the coming mid-March, according to Minister for Social Development of the State, Yubaraj Dulal.

The program initially started from five hospitals in five districts of the state.

Under this program, 25,000 poor people of the Bagmati State are expected to receive health services for free in the next year.

Likewise, some 75,000 people of the State will get health check-ups for a minimum charge.
