Met office predicts rain, thunderstorm today



KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has predicted rains and thunderstorms in various parts of the country on Tuesday.

The weather will remain partly to generally cloudy across the country with chances of rains accompanied by thunderstorms in some parts of the country due to low pressure system formed in the east, said Bibhuti Pokharel, a meteorologist.

Rains and thunderstorms are likely to occur in many ares of the eastern region and in few places of the western region of the country.

According to Pokharel, the weather will gradually clear from Wednesday.
