PM Oli, Dahal holding meeting at Baluwtar



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Nepal Communist Party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal are holding a meeting at the former’s official residence in Baluwatar.

The meeting is focused on the latest political developments including the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) report submitted by the task-force.

It is learned that the meeting is also dwelling on the vacant post of the Deputy Speaker.

In the meeting held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar, the duo is also learned to have discussed issues including the NCP’s task force led by party senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal to suggest a constitution amendment proposal.

Party insiders said the two chairmen also discussed matter surrounding the controversial involvement of former Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Baskota in negotiating a commission for a security press deal.
