Govt committed to people’s happiness, says PM



PANCHTHAR: Prime Minister KP Oli today said his government was devoted to ensuring happiness to people with increasing facilities and comforts.

Inaugurating the Greater Pumping Drinking Water and Electrification Project at Yasok of Kummayak rural municipality in Panchthar on Sunday, PM Oli said the major goal of the government was to carry out development activities in the country.

PM Oli said that the government has focused on big road projects and the implementation of Tamor storage-type project in eastern Nepal.

He also urged locals to undertake efforts for the development and promotion of local tourism.

On the occasion, PM Oli recalled the moments when he used to travel through Yasok and Ranigau some 50 years ago saying that the development of all regions was of equal importance.

Meanwhile, Minister for Water Supplies Bina Magar said that the drinking water management was a challenging task and stated that the government was attempting to avail clean drinking water for all.
