Two-day state-level security seminar kicks off



HETAUDA: A state (Bagmati)-level security seminar organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs has kicked off today.

The security situation in all 13 districts, citizenship and passport distribution issues, crime control measures, and Nepal-China border issues are the agenda of the seminar, according to Makwanpur’s Chief District Police Officer Narayan Prasad Bhatta.

Home Ministry’s secretary Maheshwar Neupane, chiefs of the Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and National Investigation Department and Nepal Army senior security officials are present in the program, according to the state’s ministry of internal affairs and law.

Chief District Officers from all 13 districts are attending the seminar. Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa is scheduled to give directions to security chiefs on Sunday, it is said.
