NC asks PM Oli to sack Minister Baskota

KATHMANDU: Main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) has asked the government to immediately sack Minister for Communication and Information Technology Gokul Baskota and initiate an investigation.

Minister Baskota has been dragged into controversy following the leakage of his audio clip bargaining for Rs 700 million in bribe over the procurement of security printing press for the government.

NC Spokesperson Bishwo Prakash Sharma, issuing a press statement, has urged Prime Minister K P Oli to dismiss Minister Baskota.
