NA’s Shivaratri rehearsal affected flights at TIA

KATHMANDU: The flights to and from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) were affected due to the rehearsal carried out by Nepal Army as part of preparation for Shivaratri festival on Tuesday.

The only international airport remained shut for three hours affecting national and international flights for around eight hours yesterday.

An aircraft of Nepal Airlines coming from New Delhi returned to New Delhi itself after it could not land while the other international flights were held for one and a half hours in the air.
