IGP Gyawali bids farewell to Khanal

KATHMANDU: Outgoing Inspector General of Police of Nepal Police (IGP) Sarbendra Khanal, Additional Inspector Generals (AIGs) and Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGs) were bidden farewell on Tuesday.

They were bid farewell amidst a special function organized at Nepal Police Headquarters. Newly-appointed IGP Thakur Prasad Gyawali bid adieu to the retiring officials.

At the farewell ceremony, outgoing IGP Khanal said that he got many experiences during the tenure, adding that he also faced criticism and accusations.

Also speaking, newly-appointed IGP praised Khanal for his successful tenure.

He added that outgoing IGP connected society with Nepal Police through community police program.
