Ambulance driver arrested while smuggling spotted deer

DARCHULA: Police have arrested a person while smuggling a spotted deer in an ambulance.

According to police, the driver of the ambulance, State 01-001-Jha 346, was arrested during the routine security check. The arrested is driver Mahesh Bohara.

The Sudurpaschim Province had donated the ambulance to Dilasaini Rural Municipality.

The driver had brought the spotted deer from Suklaphanta Wildlife Reserve. The dear had died in the ambulance.
