Minister Baskota warns against doing politics in office



KATHMANDU: Minister for Communication and Information Technology Gokul Baskota has warned Nepal Telecom (NT) employees to refrain from doing politics.

Speaking at the 16th anniversary of Nepal Telecom in Kathmandu today, Minister Baskota warned NT staffers against doing politics in the office.

“I appreciate those engineers and technicians working day and night in the field to construct towers,” he said, adding, “And it has come to my notice that several employees have been sitting idle and going politics in the office.”

“If you are interested in politics, the party offices are waiting for you,” he warned.
