RJP coordinator Yadav rules out coalition in incumbent govt

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Janata Party (RJP) Nepal’s Coordinator and parliamentarian Mahendra Raya Yadav clarified that there was no immediate possibility of his party to join the present Nepal Communist Party-led government.

At an interaction organized at Reporters’ Club in Kathmandu today, Yadav further made clear that there was not any discussion held within the party in this regard.

He added, “There has been no discussion about forming a coalition with the incumbent government yet. Hence, there is no possibility of it. No talk on this has been held with the Prime Minister.”

The coordinator, however, hinted at the possibility for the same if the government was going to address the past agenda and present demand the party rose.

Furthermore, he assured of the unification process between RJP Nepal and Socialist Party for which, he said, the process was forwarded.
