DAMAULI: National Assembly Chairman, Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, has said it would be a betrayal if Nepali people forgot the sacrifice and contribution of the martyr’s.

Timilsina recalled their sacrifice saying that the country would not have witnessed today’s situation sans their contribution.

He said this while garlanding the martyrs’ monuments at Bandipur rural municipality of Tanahu district on Thursday on the occasion of Martyr’s Day.

A total of six statues of martyrs, executed by the Ranas in the movement of 2007 BS, have been constructed in the district.
