NCP group-wise discussion on political report underway



KATHMANDU:  A group-wise discussion on the political report jointly prepared by chairmen of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) is underway in the capital on Thursday.

Chairman KP Oli had inaugurated the CC meeting in which another chairman Dahal presented the political report of the party at the Central Committee (CC) meeting that kicked off at City Hall in the capital on Wednesday.

The deliberation on the political dossier is taking place by dividing CC members into 15 groups in an alphabetical order.

“Each group has 29 CC members. Discussions are taking place in three places – Dhumbarahi, Paris Danda and City Hall,” Surya Thapa, Deputy Chief of Publicity Department of the party, told Khabarhub.

Similarly, General Secretary Bishnu Paudel had tabled a constitution amendment proposal in the meeting.

The political dossier has proposed to hold its general convention from April 7-12 in 2021.
