Materializing the commitments is the need of the hour: NCP Chairman Dahal

KATHMANDU: If we materialize the commitments expressed before the people by late leader Rabindra Adhikari and senior communist leader Bharat Mohan Adhikari, it will be a real tribute to the departed souls.

Speaking at a condolence meeting organized by Nepal Communist Party (NCP) at Bhrikutimandap in the capital today, NCP Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal said, “We have set a goal of ‘Prosperous Nepal and Happy Nepali’ envisioned by the government through good governance and social justice.”

He further stated that the leaders sacrificed their entire life for achieving the goal of peace, prosperity and social justice. “If we accomplish this mission, it will be a real tribute to the departed souls,” Dahal said.

While paying a tribute to Adhikari duo, Dahal said, rather in a philosophical tone, that it is also a time for people to realize that they will not be taking anything – money, ornaments, house – when we die. “If we do something good for the sake of social justice, peace and prosperity, people will remember us even after our death,” he added.

The ruling Nepal Communist Party held a condolence meeting in a tribute to late Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari and former Deputy Prime Minister and senior communist leader Bharat Mohan Adhikari  at Bhrikutimandap in the capital today.
