Taxi-hit kills pedestrian in Lalitpur

KATHMANDU: A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a taxi in Lalitpur Metropolis-9, Balkumari on Thursday.

According to police, the taxi, Ba 2 Ja 2806, hit the pedestrian injuring her seriously.

The woman, whose identification is yet to be ascertained, died while being taken to Patan Hospital for treatment.

Police said they have arrested the taxi driver and impounded the taxi.
