Car-hit claims woman in Budhanilkantha

KATHMANDU: A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car at Budhanilkantha-5 in the capital.

The deceased has been identified as Lila Devkota, 42 of Gorkha district, who was currently staying at Bishnumati.

Devkota, who was hit by a car with the registration no. Ba 15 Cha 6123 at Maharajgunj on Saturday, died in the course of treatment at Neuro Hospital.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the driver and the car under control.
