Identification of two dead in Palpa jeep plunge ascertained



PALPA: Identification of two passengers killed in the Palpa jeep accident on Thursday afternoon has been ascertained.

According to DSP Krishnaraj Sapkota, the deceased are jeep driver Dilip Bramel, 25, and co-driver Krishna Karki,24, of Rainadevi Rural Municipality-5, Chhahara.

The incident took place when the ill-fated jeep, Lu 1 Ja 4209, heading to Tansen from Butwal met with an accident at a place between Kerabari and Chaubis Mile along the Siddhartha Highway in Palpa district.

The jeep skidded off the road and plunged some 500 meters down into the river.
