NCP Chairman Dahal postpones his China trip

KATHMANDU: Chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has postponed his China visit owing to what has been said ‘deteriorating’ health condition of Prime Minister K P Oli, a party leader said.

Dahal was scheduled to embark on a China visit leading a 60-member jumbo team of the party on December 10 at the invitation by the Communist Party of China (CPC).

According to NCP leader Agni Sapkota, Chairman Dahal has postponed his China visit considering the health of PM Oli, who is currently in hospital.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Oli today had earlier explained to the people about his health condition saying he is recuperating and is in good spirits.

Prime Minister Oli in a video message on Twitter from the hospital bed said he has been ‘able to talk and watch news’.
