Parliamentary Hearing Committee meeting being held today



KATHMANDU: Meetings of two parliamentary committees under the Federal Parliament are being held today. The meetings of the Federalism Strengthening and National Concerns Committee and the Parliamentary Hearing Committee have been scheduled.

According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the Parliamentary Hearing Committee is set to discuss complaints filed against Man Bahadur Karki, who has been proposed for the post of Chief Election Commissioner. Karki will also be invited before the committee for a hearing. The meeting is scheduled for 11:15 am.

On Tuesday, the committee heard Guru Prasad Wagle and Dr. Rajiv Subba, who have been proposed for the posts of Election Commissioners.

Similarly, the Federalism Strengthening and National Concerns Committee has included discussion on the “Annual Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2083/84” in its agenda. The committee meeting is scheduled for 11:00 am.
