Seven killed in Afghanistan car bomb blast

KABUL: Seven people died and seven sustained injuries on Wednesday in a car bomb explosion that occurred near the interior ministry in the Afghan capital of Kabul.

International media reports said there was no immediate claim of responsibility.

The explosion came a day after two commanders of Taliban and a Haqqani militant group were released in exchange for two professors — an American and an Australian. (Agencies)
