Ministry of Labour to launch ‘Help to Help 10 Cell’



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security is going to launch the ‘Help to Help 10 Cell’ to prevent fraudulent  activities in foreign employment.

Sharing this at a press conference on Tuesday on the occasion of International Migrants Day, MoLESS Secretary Dr Krishnahari Pushkar said ‘Help to Help 10 Cell’ will be operational from coming December 23.

Stating that the risk of being cheated in foreign employment due to misleading information posted on social media and other digital platforms has been increasing in recent times, Secretary Dr Pushkar said that the system is being launched to share official information and safe environment for workers.

Through the ‘Help to Help 10 Cell’, workers going for foreign employment will be able to get answers to 10 major questions including which country has a demand for employment, which are the official foreign employment recruitment companies, qualifications required for the job, age, training, health condition, expenses incurred, payment process, safe travel methods, and official contact addresses of the relevant bodies.

According to Secretary Pushkar, the ‘Help to Help 10 Cell’ connects the labor offices of all seven provinces, the employment information centers at 753 local levels, the Department of Foreign Employment, and the Solution Call Center.
