Public holiday on Ghatasthapana in Gandaki State

KASKI: The government in Gandaki State has declared public holiday on September 29, Ghatasthapana, the first day of Dashain festival.

Spokesperson of Gandaki State government and Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Development, Ram Sharan Basnet, shared this at a program organized here to make public the decisions of the Cabinet held yesterday.

He further said the Gandaki State government took this decision as per the demand of various bodies.

The Cabinet meeting also decided to recommend the federal government to provide 15 ropanis of land belonging to Kafaldanda Mandre Forest Users’ Committee to make a building for Ajirkot rural municipality of Gorkha.

Similarly, the State government approved the monitoring directive on child correction center, detention and prison.
